SteelPac Adjustable Dumbbells

I hate things that are designed to start looking ratty over time. I can’t stand buying new things to replace things I already bought. I’m throughly annoyed when something quits working just because some delicate internal part broke. I have a psychopathic tendency to fix things rather than throw them away.

I designed my own adjustable dumbbell to suit my preferences.

Steel parts are covered by a liftetime limited warranty covering manufacturer defects. If something’s not right, I’ve got you covered. If you manage to bend the shaft, well, I’ll probably charge a few bucks for repairs and shipping.

Plastic parts are covered by a 4-year limited warranty covering manufacturer defects and premature wear. The plastic parts on SteelPac dumbbells are chonky, and the material is a super-tough polycarbonate alloy. They should basically last forever as long as you don’t be an idiot with them. In any case, if they do break, you’ll have two options: send me your dumbbell handles to get the plastic parts replaced, or if you’re handy I can send you new plastic parts for DIY replacement (usually the faster option).

The bottom line: I want you to be delighted with your dumbbells, and I want them to last you for the long-term. If things break due to normal use within the first few years I’ll cover the cost to repair it. But please be aware that SteelPac dumbbells are not as tough as conventional fixed-weight dumbbells, and one cannot be a gorilla with the mechanical bits, so I must charge fees for repair of damage caused by misuse or abuse.
