The dumbbell show here is a bit out of date as the hand grip lacked knurling. There was also an issue with the zinc plating, hence the ugly splotches on the plates.

Note, this video showcases o-o-o-old dumbbells with inferior hand grips, bare steel (no finish), and an older design. The interviewer, Mike Ciona of Saskatoon CTV News, had bought a pair and was impressed enough to come do an interview for CTV Morning Live.
