- Hexagonal weight plates are laser cut from 1/4″ thick high quality North American steel plate that is both stronger and tougher than cast iron.
- 5 pound weight increments are built-in. No need to keep annoying clip-on pieces lying around.
- The all-steel structure is drop-resistant and built to provide lifetimes (plural) of satisfaction. No plastic is involved in holding things together. If you read the fine print for some of the other “drop proof” adjustable dumbbells out there, they make “no guarantees” about performance.
- Simplisitc design and construction means no fiddly bits to break off. Every part is chonky and tough.

- For portability, the 5 lb base connects to the dumbbell at the maximum weight setting. This slightly compromises balance at the max weight setting, but you’ll barely notice.
